Welcome to Copford Cricket Club – situated just West of Colchester in Essex, the club was formed in the mid 1960s, moving to its current idyllic setting in 1972. We are in sight of Copford Hall and the 12th Century Church which houses some of the finest examples of fresco painting in Europe.
The club has grown over the years and now supports 3 Senior teams, a thriving Junior sections as well as supporting ECB initiatives. We host some Over 50’s, Over 60’s and Over 70’s two Counties matches as well as being awarded ground of the year for the whole of the Two Counties League which is some feat! The club was also awarded a silver award for the best ground category from the Essex Playing Fields Association.

Copford Cricket Club is a No Smoking/Vaping Club, this includes the patio area and field of play. Smoking is only permitted in the Car Park. Banned substances are not allowed in any area.
